Draft EPA Guidance on the Management of Stormwater for Industrial and Waste Licensed Activities

The Agency has prepared draft guidance on the management of stormwater at licensed sites. The new guidance will support better stormwater management and protection at licensed sites. It will also assist licensees in setting trigger values for stormwater discharges, a requirement in many industrial and waste licences. The EPA is now consulting with external parties on the draft guidance and welcomes any comments or questions that you may have. The draft guidance, and the spreadsheet of worked trigger level examples referenced therein, are available to download below. Please use the excel spreadsheet “Stormwater guidance consultation feedback form” which is available to download below to record your feedback. Email it to the EPA using the following email address: [email protected] .Please do not use any other email address to submit your feedback. This will help us to more easily collate and consider all submissions. Consultation will close on the 13 June 2025.
